Depending on what your needs are—home size, school location, high-rise condos or single-family estates—you can use our search tools to pinpoint exactly where you should begin looking for your new home. As always, you can keep your handy print magazine, Gulfshore Life’s Homebuyer, to refer back to, or use these tips to get started online:

Search by Community
Our home page defaults to this search. You can find homes in all of the areas of Florida that Homebuyer magazines cover, but if you’re looking specifically for Lee and Collier counties, choose Naples/Fort Myers in the Region pull-down menu. From there, you can specify county, city, home type and price range.

Search by Builder
If you have a favorite builder, you can also search by the company’s name. Type the first letter of the company’s name, and a pop-up list will let you choose from more than 200 builders in our database.

Advanced Search
Choose the Search tab at the top of our home page, and it will take you to our advanced search. Here you can search by schools, in case you are hoping to fall within a particular school district. For Lee County, in the elementary school field, type the zone you wish to be in—South, West or East—and the communities within that zone will be displayed. In Collier County, you can search by specific elementary, middle and high schools.

In this area, you can also choose to search by amenities, in case you simply must have boat facilities and a clubhouse.
