Take Note: New Home Community and Builder News

CLAY COUNTY
Drees Homes has launched a Build-on-Your-Lot program in five Northeast Florida counties. The company is also building in several area communities, including Two Creeks in Clay County, where homes are priced from the $170s.

The $5-million amenity center at East West Partners’ Rolling Hills at Lake Asbury is scheduled to open on Memorial Day weekend. The community adjoins the Bradley Creek Greenway conservation in Lake Asbury and encompasses more than 200 acres of preserve areas. The facility will feature a two-story residents club with a fitness center, a superpool with a twisting and turning slide, lap lanes and a water playground. There’ll also be a kid’s club, a miniature golf course, a party pavilion, six tennis courts and an outdoor amphitheater lawn and pavilion.

Three move-in-ready homes are available at Kindlewood, Clay County’s first Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND). Built by Taylor Morrison, the homes feature neotradtional architecture and abundant landscaping. The community is designed to recreate life in a small town, with pedestrian-friendly streets, open community spaces and walking paths.

Ryland Homes has announced that its offerings in the comunities of Doctors Inlet Reserve and Sevilla have sold out. Buyers looking in Clay County now have the opportunity to see the builder’s HouseWorks earth-friendly designs in Pine Ridge, where a new resort-style amenity center will open this spring. Pine Ridge homes are priced starting at just under $160,000.

DUVAL COUNTY
Pulte Homes is offering buyers one last opportunity to buy three-story townhomes in its Midtowne community. Priced from $357,990, the Burberry floorplan has 2,552 square feet with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. Two-story townhomes are also available.

D.R. Horton has opened six models in the gated community of Windsor Falls, located on Jacksonville’s Southside. Priced from the upper $120s, condominiums feature two or three bedrooms and range in size from 1,079 to 1,473 square feet. The community features a private clubhouse with a catering kitchen, a fitness center, a pool and a patio area.

Only a handful of homesites remain in the Collins Builders’ communities of Dunns Creek Plantation and Hayden Lakes, both located on Jacksonville’s Northside. Three completed homes, all featuring Low Country architecture, are also available in another Collins community, Blackwood Forest in Mandarin. And the builder just opened its newest community, Adams Way, where homes are priced starting in the $130s.

NASSAU COUNTY
More than 130 homes have already been built in Oyster Bay Harbour, a yachting community in Fernandina Beach. With a four-mile wetland waterfront and a 900-acre maritime forest, the community features 76 state-of-the-art boat slips and a newly completed yacht club and marina. Homesites range in size from one-quarter to nearly two acres with prices starting in the $170s.

KB Home has teamed up with Sherwin Williams and will begin using an exclusive co-branded line of low-VOC paints in all its new homes. The builder currently offers homes in five Jacksonville and three St. Augustine communities, as well as Timber Creek in Nassau County. Homebuyers in Timber Creek have 14 floorplans from which to choose, with prices starting in the $130s.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY
D.R. Horton has introduced three model homes at Heritage Landing at World Golf Village. Priced from the mid-$170s and including a community savings package of up to $35,000, the company’s Designer Series features modern exterior architecture and a wealth of amenities.

Holder Johnson Homes held a grand opening for its new model home in Las Calinas. The Glendale features four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms in a two-story design. The builder offers eight floorplans in the community with prices starting at $289,900.

ICI Homes has four move-in-ready homes in the family-friendly community of St. Johns Forest. Featuring three to five bedrooms, the designs also include bonus rooms and are priced from the high $400s.

MCS Development Corporation has eight marshfront homesites for sale at special pricing in Istoria. Located on the shores of Casa Cola Creek and the Tolomato River, the community is adjacent to a tidal waterway and borders the Guana River Reserve. The marshfront homesites are priced from $179,000 while two interior homesites are also available for $129,000.

CornerStone Homes has four homes for sale in Worthington Park. With lake or nature views, open floorplans and distinctive architectural elements, the homes are priced in the mid-$400s and feature four or five bedrooms.

FLAGLER COUNTY
ABD Development Company won a Parade of Homes award for its Manchester model in the Palm Coast community of Toscana. The two-story, 5,200-square-foot home features five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a three-car garage. ABD is planning to build 90 four-, five- and six-bedroom luxury homes in the first phase of Toscana. Prices start in the $500s.
