Taylor Morrison has started presales of 60 new townhomes priced from $219,990 at The Village of Wesmere in Ocoee. Kyle Marik, marketing manager, says new designs range from 1,400 to 2,200 square feet with three bedrooms and two-car garages.

David Weekley Homes is offering new floorplans in Victoria Park near DeLand. Homes on 50-foot homesites are priced from the $220s while homes on 60-foot homesites are priced from the $270s.

Ashton Woods Homes has started construction of a 30-unit condominium building at Lakeside Condominiums in Windermere. Michael Roche, vice president of sales and marketing, says two- and three-bedroom condos at Lakeside range in size from 1,161 to 1,455 square feet and are priced from $169,900.  Roche also announced that Ashton Woods has released 10 new homesites for sale at The Cove at the Lakes of Windermere. Prices start from the $230s for one- and two-story homes ranging in size from 1,859 to 2,957 square feet. Finally, Ashton Woods has opened Savannah Park, a gated townhome community located at Heathrow. It features 156 luxury two-, three- and four-bedroom townhomes priced from the low $200s and ranging in size from 1,460 to 1,975 square feet with private two-car garages.

Centex Homes has started presales of three- and four-bedroom townhomes at Emerson Park in Apopka. Carol-Ann Barody, director of marketing, says Centex plans to build 177 new townhomes ranging in size from 1,650 to 2,241 square feet and priced from the $170s. Also at Emerson Park, Centex is building 322 three-, four- and five-bedroom single-family homes ranging in size from 1,965 to 3,607 square feet and priced from under $200,000. Amenities include a community clubhouse, swimming pool, playground and several open park areas. Presales have started at Fountain Park, a Centex Homes community located in Polk County. There are 150 homesites available with three-, four-, five- and six-bedroom designs. Single-family homes will range in size from 1,433 to 3,514 square feet and will be priced from the $150s.

Park Square Homes has introduced a new concept—a health and wellness vacation home resort—at Veranda Palms in Kissimmee. Mary McKaig, vice president of marketing, says 40 new four-, five- and six-bedroom single-family homes priced from $275,900 are planned for the first phase. Homes range in size from 1,567 to 2,826 square feet.

Ryland Homes has debuted a community clubhouse, fitness center and swimming pool at Oasis Cove, a gated community of luxury condominiums and townhomes located in Windermere. The builder is selling 231 two-, three- and four-bedroom townhomes priced under $200,000 with one- and two-car garages. Ryland has also opened a new community swimming pool, cabana and children’s playground at Esprit, a community of single-family homes located in St. Cloud.  Homes are priced from the $170s, according to Division President Jeff Agar. In addition Ryland has begun construction of three new townhome models at Somerset Chase in east Orlando. Priced from the low $200s, the 208 townhomes will range in size from 1,373 to 2,000 square feet. Amenities include a pool, cabana and tot lot.

Mercedes Homes has opened the two-story, Mediterranean-styled Wesley model at Lake Smart in Winter Haven. Paul Schoettelkotte, vice president of sales, says the home features four bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms in 3,024 square feet. It’s priced from $210,990. Mercedes is also building 169 new single-family homes at Lake Smart priced from under $170,000.  At Tuscany Towns in Daytona Beach, Mercedes is preselling two- and three-bedroom townhomes priced at under $130,000 and ranging in size from 1,200 to 1,800 square feet.

Beazer Homes has started construction on the two-story Wekiva single-family model at The Enclave at Moss Park in southeast Orlando. David Byrnes, Orlando regional president, says the five-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom model offers 2,450 square feet with a two-car garage and is priced from $299,990. Prices range from $189,225 to the $250s. Beazer is also building 160 new single-family homes priced from the high $100s at Victoria Trails, which is part of Victoria Park in DeLand. Finally, Beazer has opened the first Orlando-area community to showcase new SmartDesign features. Homes at The Enclave at Moss Park offer options including kitchen cabinets with glide-out shelving, enhanced closet systems, home office workstations and built-in storage units developed in conjunction with nationally-acclaimed organizing expert Monica Ricci.

Tolaris Homes, which builds luxury homes at Lake Forest, a gated community located in Seminole County, recently completed two ready-to-move-in luxury homes on conservation-area homesites at Southwood. Rick Bavec, company president, says the 3,481-square-foot Berringer III model offers four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a three-car garage and is priced at $956,000. The 4,444-square-foot Insignia model has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, a two-car garage and a teen garage and is priced from $1.2 million.

The 8th Street of Dreams will be held May 10 through June 22 at Lake Club in Lake Mary. This luxury home showcase will feature three homes ranging in size from 10,000 to 17,000 square feet and are priced up to $9.25 million.
