Caribbean Creole
This Caribbean Creole-inspired home begins with a central foyer unwrapping onto a formal dining room and library. A gathering room, breakfast area and master bedroom all open to an outdoor living space that features two porches, a fireplace, a grill area and a pool. Upstairs, the home boasts two guest suites, a club room and a home theater. The detached garage is located to the rear of the homesite and is connected to the home via a breezeway. The design features tabby stucco walls with brick accents and tall windows with operable wood plank shutters. Exposed rafter tails, a slate roof and a cantilevered front balcony complete the look.

From the Judges The handling of the cars makes this design one of the most civilized. An excellent early decision that affects everything that follows...By toning down the ‘bells and whistles,’ a truly elegant house is possible.
